ive been meaning to post this for quit some time now and i finally got around to it. i have the cartoon animation book by preston blair and i was looking a few of the scanned pages of the old version on the ASIFA blog. The whole book is relatively the same but a few of the characters kinda lost their edge. take a look at this rowdy rabbit the one on the left is clearly more rowdy then the one on the right. plus what the hell happened to his nose ? ... he must have lost one to many bar fights because he is clearly not rowdy at all.
both books have the typical generic type cartoon characters but the only difference is in the new version of this book the genericness of the these characters are stripped down even more. the new rowdy rabbit just looks like a prick. why the terrible changes ?
